DMMO’s Threads & Trills luncheon, held at the Holiday Inn & Suites, Jordan Creek, offers opera fans a chance to get a sneak peek at the costumes from the upcoming season’s operas while enjoying arias and duets sung by principal artists from each show. Lunch is included with the purchase of a $40 ticket. Sponsored by the Des Moines Metro Opera Guild Council, the proceeds of the event are used to underwrite the costs of costumes for one of the season’s operas.
