Tickets: Price: $0.00 The Des Moines Chapter will host an evening of singing,(some selections not for the faint of heart!) frivolity, and dare we say, libation at the Blue Moon Dueling Piano Bar in West Glen for Singing On Tap. Members of our Apprentice Artist Program, as well as other guests, will be there to sing their favorites and possibly incite the bravest of you to join in the chorus or even star in your own aria. From 6:30-8pm on Thursday, May 30, be sure to eat, drink, and sing merrily!
Threads & Trills Costume Show and Luncheon June 8th, 2013 12:00 pm Embassy West Club, 520 Market Street, West Des Moines, IA Tickets: Price: $40.00 The annual Threads & Trills luncheon, held at the beautiful Embassy West Club, on Market Street, West Des Moines, offers opera fans a chance to get a sneak peek at the costumes from the 2013 production of Romeo and Juliet while enjoying arias and duets sung by principal artists. Lunch is included with the purchase of your ticket.

Sponsored by the Des Moines Metro Opera Guild Council, the proceeds of the event are used to underwrite the costs of costumes for one of the season's operas.
